This was revealed in a statement signed by Obasanjo’s media aide, Kehinde Akinyemi.
Akinyemi, however, did not give details of the meeting between the two men.
“Abubakar arrived at about 12:00pm, had a closed session with Obasanjo and came out at about 1:00pm; observed his Islamic prayers and lunch before taking his leave at about 2:00pm,” the terse statement read.
Atiku and Obasanjo had fallen out shortly before they left power in 2007, but reconciled three months to the just-concluded general election.
This is the first time they will meet, since President Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressives Congress (APC), defeated Atiku at the February 23 poll. SHARE THIS STORY USING ANY OF THE BUTTON BELOW ⬇ PLACE YOUR TEXT ADVERT BELOW ⬇⬇⬇
