The NYSC said on Friday that Kazaure was among the 29 Brigadier Generals elevated by the Nigerian Army to the rank of a Major General in its promotion exercise on Monday.
Our correspondent learnt that Kazaure, who hails from Jigawa State, was back to the office on Friday as a Major General, after inspecting a guard of honour mounted by corps members at the NYSC Headquarters, Abuja.
The NYSC Director of Press and Public Relations, Mrs Adenike Adeyemi, said in a release that the DG’s administration, which began in April 2016, had improved on staff welfare and the security of corps members nationwide.
“The NYSC boss has been in various capacities in the Nigerian Army and distinguished himself as an excellent officer and a goal-getter. He assumed duty in April 2016 as the 17th Chief Executive Officer of the NYSC and has since improved staff welfare and security of corps members across the country.
