News In Pictures: Chaos As Forte Oil Filling Station Goes Up In Flames In Lagos International Airport

A Forte Oil filling station along airport road in the city of Lagos has gone up in flames in broad daylight.

There was panic on Friday afternoon at the Murtala Muhammed Airport, Lagos, as a Forte Oil filling station within the premises suddenly caught fire, Punch Metro reports.

The fire restricted movement into the airport, causing gridlock.
The General Manager, Corporate Communications of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria, Mrs Henrietta Yakubu, said the agency’s fire-rescue service assisted in putting out the fire.

The cause of the fire is yet to be known, as of the time of filing this report.
