Henley ranked 193 countries in the world. Some countries tied in ranking, thereby reducing the ranking figure to 102.
The citizens of the countries ranked enjoy visa free or visa on arrival access to the numbers of destinations they have access.
Nigeria was ranked as the 94th with visa-free access to 47 destinations. Nigeria however ranked higher than Syria , Sudan, Iran, Libya, Pakistan and others.
According to the ranking, Japanese citizens have the most powerful passports. Japan is ranked number one on the index with visa-free visa access to 190 countries across the world.
Singapore is the second with free access into 189 countries while Germany, France and South Korea are jointly ranked third with access to 188 countries.
The countries that ranked fourth on the list are Denmark, Finland, Italy, Spain and Sweden with free access into 187 countries.
United States and United Kingdom, which ranked highest in 2015 now ranks fifth. The countries have visa-free access to 186 countries.
