Salau, who represented the Vice-Chancellor of NOUN, Prof. Abdalla Adamu, said the mandate of the institution was to take education to everywhere in the country.
He said, “There is hope for you. Education is the bedrock of whatever you want to do in life. With good education, you can achieve your dreams.”
On his part, Benson noted that education was part of the reformation policy of the current Controller- General of Prisons, J’afaru Ahmed.
He said Ahmed had sent books to prisons across the country so that the inmates could be enlightened.
He said seven of the inmates enrolled for Political Science, two for Computer Science, while one each would pursue courses in Biology, Peace and Conflict Resolution, Economics and Accounting.
