Prophecies Against Buhari For 2019 Are Not From God - Popular Cleric

A popular cleric in the Isoko South Council Area of Delta State, Silas Buowe, says only idle clerics will predict President Muhammadu Buhari’s defeat in 2019 if he seeks re-election.
Buowe, a former member of the Delta State House of Assembly between 2003 and 2007, said such prophecies cannot be from God.

In a statement on Saturday, the clergyman urged men of God to leave politics for those who understand it and avoid pushing their followers and admirers into confusion.

He said politics cuts across religions and denominations, stressing that every servant of God must allow the will of God on the choice of who becomes leader to lead His people either at the council or federal level.

He advised clergymen interested in politics to register membership with a political party, saying that Christians must not allow unbelievers to decide their destiny and turn around to complain.

“Let us be humble enough to submit to the will of God on the choice of who leads the nation,” he added.

He described 2018 as a year of miracles for the church and Nigeria, adding that the Lord promised to restore Nigeria back to the path of greatness.

According to him, Christians and Muslims should pray for Buhari because he means well for the country.
