A notorious cultist popularly called ‘Supremo’ in Eleme Local government area of Rivers state, has been declared wanted by the Governor Nyesom Wike-led government on Thursday.
According to reports, ‘Supremo’ was declared wanted after failing to meet the ultimatum given to him by the state Amnesty Committee to drop his arms and embrace amnesty.
Chairman of the Rivers state Amnesty Programme, Ken Chinda directed the security agencies to ensure the arrest of ‘Supremo’.
In the meantime, the Amnesty Committee has suspended its programme at Gokana Local government area of the state.
Ken Chinda who is also the Special Adviser to Governor Nyesom Wike on Amnesty, berated the action of cultists in Gokana, adding that the youths are taking the programme for granted.
He said the youths failed to submit the weapons they use in perpetrating evil in the Local government.
According to him, “Look at Bomu. Look at what they brought. They brought a toy, what they called gun is not working but when you go into the streets you will see shells of GPMG all over the place. Where is that GPMP, where is the AK 47, where are all the dangerous weapons you have been using for killing and destruction.
“I can see you people have decided to turn this into deceit. Even the Chiefs said there are no weapons. Well, let me tell you the Amnesty programme here have been suspended.
“We give you one extra week to make up your minds for this disarmament if not the Law will take its full course on you people.” SHARE YOUR STORY WITH US VIA EMAIL: INFO@247NIGERIANEWSUPDATE.CO RECEIVE NEWS VIA OUR WHATSAPP, KINDLY TEXT +234 701 056 0394 TO ADD YOU CLICK HERE TO JOIN US ON OUR YOUTUBE CHANNEL FOR NEWS UPDATE CLICK HERE TO JOIN US ON TWITTER FOR INSTANT NEWS UPDATE: @247NGNEWSUPDATE CLICK HERE TO JOIN MILLIONS AROUND THE GLOBE TO READ NEWS ON OUR FACEBOOK FAN PAGE FOR INSTANT UPDATES ON INSTAGRAM CLICK HERE RECEIVE INSTANT NEWS UPDATE VIA OUR BBM BROADCAST: D3EDEFDF PLACE YOUR TEXT ADVERT BELOW:>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
