A man who tried to rob a woman at an Automated Teller Machine point, has been served brutal justice in broad daylight.

A man was caught trying to rob a woman at an ATM point and was given the beating of his life.

The man, a South African, was beaten and stripped n*ked in public.
According to Daily Sun SA, the suspect was almost killed when he was chased, caught and beaten with sticks, fists and stones. However, he was lucky that cops arrived in time to save him.

The suspect allegedly tried to rob a woman at an ATM in Bergman Square kasi in Mangaung on Saturday.

A witness said: “This man got what he deserved. He was involved in another robbery earlier and managed to escape.

“He was trying to rob the woman who was withdrawing money. She screamed for help. The guy got scared and ran to a car that was waiting for him but he was too slow.

“So it drove off and left him behind. He tried to run in a different direction but the community caught him and moered him.

“He was happy robbing people. But when he was punished, he started begging them not to kill him as he has family.

“I don’t know who called the police but they managed to rescue him.”

Police spokeswoman, Sergeant Ikobeng Hlubi confirmed that the police rescued a man who had been beaten. She said no case was opened.
