Nigeria will have food surplus in the next two years – Audu Ogbeh

Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Chief Audu Ogbeh says Nigeria within the next two years will achieve food surplus in order to guarantee everyNigerian;s right to ffod.
Chief Ogbeh made the statement via his Twitter handle today in commemoration of the World Food Day.
According to Chief Ogbeh, the future of agriculture in Nigeria lies in the hands of the youth and he said they must first be encouraged to show interest in agriculture.
While applauding Nigerian farmers for ‘staying faithful and feeding the nation over the years when oil and gas was in vogue,’ he said farmers will soon be able to access cheap loans from the Bank of Agriculture.
