Just In: Tears of Joy as Freed Chibok Girls are Finally Reunited with Their Parents (Photo+Video)

We earlier reported that just three days after they were released by Boko Haram group, the 21 Chibok schoolgirls were pictured in a group photo with Senator representaing Bornu state, Ali Ndume in Abuja, looking fresh and cleaned, as they were expected to re-unite with their parents who had embarked on a 24-hour trip from Borno State to meet with their children on Sunday in Abuja.
The released Chibok girls were finally on Sunday, re-united with their parents after more than two years in Boko Haram’s captivity.
According to TheCable News, it was a sober atmosphere at the Department of State Services (DSS) health facility in Abuja, as some of the girls locked themselves in their parents’ embrace and tears of joy flowed freely.
