Governor Samuel Ortom had earlier today reaffirmed the commitment of his administration to the fight against crime in the state.
The Governor who spoke to journalists at Federal Medical Centre Apir, said his administration will neither surrender Benue to criminals nor compromise its resolve to chase the hoodlums out of the state.
He said the stick approach of the post-amnesty era has been yielding good results and will be sustained, urging the people of the state to go about their normal activities without fear as security operatives have been mobilised to deal with any individual or group fomenting trouble.
